John T. Alfonsi is an officer of Cendrowski Selecky and a founding member of Cendrowski Corporate Advisors and Prosperitas Group.

Specializing in tax planning and consulting, John has frequently advised high net worth individuals and families and closely-held businesses in various industries, including real estate development, investment funds (private equity and hedge funds) and professional services. John also performs valuations for estate and gift tax purposes. He is a frequent lecturer on partnership issues and tax topics related to real estate investments as well as an adjunct assistant professor at Walsh College where he teaches courses in their Masters of Science in Taxation program.

Additionally, John provides litigation support including: forensic accounting, business valuations and consultations in connection with marital dissolution and shareholder disputes, and economic damages analyses. He is an admitted expert witness in federal court as well as various state circuit courts and administrative agencies.

John is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Building Owners and Managers Association.

He earned an M. S. T. at Walsh College (high distinction and recipient of the Research Institute of America Graduate Tax Award), and a B. B. A. at University of Michigan, Dearborn (cum laude).
